Quadra Cat Rescue thanks community for helping spay and neuter
Thanks to caring community members and generous donations, Quadra Cat Rescue has
fixed more than 200 cats and kittens since March 2009 – and found homes for many
that turned out to be strays or abandoned.
With kitten season upon us, fundraising efforts continue, and Quadra Cat Rescue will
hold a garage sale at one of its Campbell River foster homes on May 26.
Garage sale donations are welcome (pet‐related items too!), and people can call 250‐
285‐CATS (2287) to coordinate a time for the group to pick up items.
Quadra Cat Rescue is also in need of foster homes to socialize young kittens, or semiferal
kittens. If you can help, please call!
Quadra Cat Rescue extends a huge thank‐you to Quadra Players for the opportunity to
work the concession during the successful Little Shop of Horrors. All funds raised help
spay and neuter unwanted cats and kittens.
Quadra Cat Rescue volunteers will have a booth at Saturday markets this summer. With
pennies being discontinued, we will eagerly accept “pennies for paws.”
Quadra Cat Rescue encourages everyone to spay and neuter pet cats, and will offer
more group‐rate spays and neuters for pet cats this summer.
Tempted by “free” kittens? Please investigate the cost of pet ownership, especially
spaying and neutering, before adopting. And remember, Quadra Cat Rescue has fixed
cats and kittens available for adoption.
